Avery Johnson fills open position on Alabama staff
Alabama has filled the open position on its coaching staff.
The Crimson Tide is hiring Georgia assistant coach Yasir Rosemond, a source confirmed to AL.com.
The hiring was first reported by UGASports.com.
Rosemond will fill the spot vacated by Bob Simon, who was fired after two seasons with the Tide.
The 40-year old Rosemond had been at Georgia since 2014 after two seasons as an assistant at Samford.
